The Murcian company Zyrfresh, specialised in the production, distribution and marketing of fruit and vegetables, has presented itself this Tuesday for the second consecutive year at Fruit Attraction, the largest agri-food fair in the world, which has been taking place since Tuesday in Madrid.
This year Zyrfresh has decided to increase its visibility at the fair with a stand with a larger exhibition area, the entrance to which is presided over by a large pepper that symbolises the innovation and freshness that the company represents, and which was visited by the Minister of Agriculture, Luis Planas.
Since its creation, at the beginning of 2023, the company led by Jorge Reig has consolidated its presence in the main European markets, with a notable geographical expansion in Spain, Morocco and Colombia, broadening the origins of the products.
Until Thursday, Zyrfresh will present at IFEMA its specialization in multiple varieties of peppers, in addition to a wide range of fruit and vegetable products such as watermelon, beans, eggplant, cucumber or zucchini, offering as its main guarantee its unalterable commitment to offer continuous supply to its customers for 52 weeks a year, thanks to the geographical dispersion of its cultivation areas.
In addition, the company integrated into the Zambudio Business Group has recently opened an office in Colombia, strengthening its capacity to distribute exotic fruits to Europe and the United States. This expansion is a strategic step that will allow the company to diversify its offer and satisfy the growing demand for fresh and unique products in the international market.
“We are delighted to be participating in Fruit Attraction and to see the opportunities that are presented this year,” said Jorge Reig, CEO of Zyrfresh. “Our goal is to continue consolidating our presence in Europe and to expand into new markets, always offering the best quality and exceptional service to our customers.”
The Minister of Agriculture visits the Zyrfresh stand and learns first-hand about the demands of the sector
Within the framework of Fruit Attraction, the Minister of Agriculture, Luis Planas, stopped for a few minutes at the Zyrfresh stand to greet the company’s management team, whom he met during last year’s edition of the fair, just when the company was starting out.
Luis Planas was interested in learning about the initiatives that the company has implemented to expand its presence in international markets, as well as the difficulties faced by the sector as a whole.
During the meeting, the Minister of Agriculture has committed to continue supporting the agricultural sector and to address its main demands, which include greater investments in infrastructure and support for internationalisation.
For its part, the company run by Juan Francisco Zambudio and Jorge Reig reaffirms its position in the market and its commitment to excellence in both product quality and supply guarantee.
At the time of Planas’ visit, the president of CROEM, Miguel López Abad, was also at the Zyrfresh stand.
